I was rear ended about a month ago, I called Newman’s to see about availability of getting my car in for an estimate etc. I spoke with Rob and he said they could take a look at it the same day I called. Took my car in and the process took maybe all of 10 minutes. Left my car with them and they completed all my repairs in about 3 days. Not only did they do incredible work on my car but they took such good care of it and not only did they do the needed body work repairs but I got my car back cleaned than I left it. It was fully washed and detailed, scratches that were there prior are now gone. They went above and beyond! Rob was fantastic to work with, their shop was clean, professional and everyone I came in contact with were kind and inviting. I would HIGHLY recommend their body shop to anyone needing work done! Took my car to Newman's (because of the excellent reviews) which had minimal damage to the rear end (from another car that ran into me) with the estimate from that person's insurance company to see if Newman's could do the repairs for that amount, which was little bit over $2300. They said they would look over and work up their own estimate which I understood and it seemed reasonable. Couple days later I get an estimate with over 110 line items and in excess of $14,000. Could not believe it so I called and got every reason in the world why it was so high. Still did not believe it so I went and met with Steve. Steve was very professional, polite and courteous. He and the person I had spoke with said that they were required to build everything back to brand new like condition and had every excuse or reason why. I expained that their estimate would result in the car being declared as a total loss by the insurance company, when it only had minimal damage. When I asked can they get a trunk lid from a salvage yard and make it look as good as possible (as that's all I really needed) they said no that if they did any repairs that it had to be all or none. Wow, so much for what a customer is asking for. I instructed them to put everything back together and I would seek out something else. Ended up paying them over $800 for all of this. Following week I found a trunk lid that matched the factory paint, paid $450 for it, changed it out myself, and the car looks like nothing had ever happened. And to boot, had about $1,000 left over from the insurance company payout. At end of the day I feel that Newmans is a top notch outfit that offers good quality work, but it would be nice if they would listen to what the customer is asking of them and not look at it as an opportunity to run up a bill.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I simply went in to ask a question about touching up a few scratches on my truck and Doug walked outside, buffed a few things and actually touched up the scratch on the spot! I was amazed by the customer service and friendliness... You just don't really experience that level of customer service anymore. Not to mention their lobby is cool and has character that includes a 1952 Frigidaire refrigerator that they custom painted! Very cool! Newman’s Auto and Body repair without doubt, is the most professional automotive business in Kansas. The restoration of my 1968 red Mustang is beyond my expectations! Doug, Tim, and the whole team did everything to make this car a complete beauty and without worry and hardship. Emails, texts, and communication was fantastic, especially when I lived three hours away from Olathe. Everything I asked them to do was done graciously and with professionalism. Although the car is now complete, I will still plan to stop by as the people at Newman’s have become like family. Thank you and hats off to all of you for a job so very well done.

What a refreshing experience not only in auto body & repair but in friendliness, honesty, integrity, and a focus on the customer. I needed repair on my Honda Ridgeline – I am very particular about my vehicles and their attention to detail and expertise in fixing damage across two of my doors was outstanding. They were able to perform the work within days and completed the work for less then they estimated (which was a fair estimate) and for less than my insurance deductible which saved me $. Their team has the experience and craftsmanship to do the work and do the work right the first time. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needed auto body and repair services. Awesome service – Job well done. My son’s 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT needed front end repair work. They had to cut and weld the frame to remove and replace the drivers side Lower control arm. They were able to accommodate me on a short notice and completed the work the next day. The car feels and rides like new on the highway. I would go back to Newman’s for all my body repairs. Their work was outstanding and at a great price.

Zack was a huge help to us!!! Our son’s truck was stolen, found a day later and needed work, lots of it in our minds. We had no clue where to start and was referred to Newman’s from a family member and so what started out as a mess and very stressful situation dealing with Insurance and the overall experience of having your vehicle stolen with everything in it and having the piss ran out of it, turned into a feeling of confidence and reassurance that the truck would be taken care of and that HE would deal with Insurance, and that I shouldn’t worry about any of it. I was able to text the shop and get answers immediately if we had any questions or concerns. Not many places are as attentive…. He assured me it would be fine and he would handle everything and he did. They did an amazing job on the truck, our son is very happy with the work they put into it. Highly recommend them!!!!

I had my 2004 GMC Canyon into Newman’s to have rusted out rocker panels, cab heels and rear wheel wheels repaired. The repairs were done beautifully and the truck looks as good as new. Their work exceeded my expectations!

Newman’s did a great job from start to finish on my daughter’s car. Doug was very helpful, knowledgable and flexible in coming up with the repairs that was best and affordable. There timeliness was amazing and the result was better than we could have imagined. I wish I had known about Newman’s a few years back when I had some major damage to another car. I will certainly use them for all future auto body repairs and recommend them to neighbors and friends. The Newman’s restored my faith in humanity this morning!:-) While rushing out of my garage last night, my front bumper encountered some “unnecessary roughness” with the side of the garage, leaving a large scrape over the entire bumper. Because Newman’s have repaired my car in an excellent manner in the past, I went to get an estimate for repair this morning. A potential bill for nearly $2000.00 turned to $0.00 when Doug surprised me, revealing my front bumper looking brand new! He used a chemical that removed the garage paint, leaving the car’s topcoat untouched. I would highly recommend Newman’s Auto Body & Repair to everyone! It’s so nice to have a “good Samaritan” experience in these uncertain times. Thank you, Newman’s!

My husband Chris and I were recommended by Tummania Mazda to Newmans for what appeared to be deep scratches on my hood near my hood. Today I took my car to Doug (dad) and son (Zach) to get an estimate. First off the waiting area was immaculate and beautifully designed. Not your typical body shop waiting area. Immediately greeted by Doug who was extremely personable. Tells me briefly his history of how came about working with his son. Felt like I was at a family members home. He took my keys and 15 minutes later Doug arrived back in the waiting room. He fixed my hood and stated it wasn’t a scratch just sort of rubber substance. He could of made up some story and charged me an arm and a leg but instead was transparent. On top of that didn’t charge me a dime. Whenever I need body work done in the future, you bet I will go back. Fantastic service and will be telling my friends and family about this trustworthy shop!
